Increase JVM Memory Size
By default, Silk Mobile memory size is 512 mb.
During the Long Run execution and\or tests which use multiple devices (Parallel or Serial) it may be that the memory consumption will be more than that
To increase the memory size, perform the following:
Make sure that Silk Mobile is closed during the process.
Step 1: Create new .txt file
Step 2: In the text file, add the following text:
“-Xmx<SIZE>”
For example: “-Xmx1024m” (Sets the memory value to 1024mb)
Note: The maximum possible value is 1512 mb.
Step 3: Save the file under the name studio.vmoptions
When asked if you are sure: Approve the file extension name.
Step 4: Place the file into the installation folder (The same directory where studio.exe is located)
Step 5: Relaunch the tool
